516 913 Health Database Management: 2(1-3-3)
Knowledge of health informatics and health information systems, key standards in health informatics, data warehousing and data mining for health care, knowledge management in health service, decision making support system, health information-related ethics, guidelines, and regulations

 

Aims: After completion of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe principle of health informatics and health information systems
  • Conduct research by using the context of existing health databases
  • Master the use of MySQL to manage database

 

Course schedule [15 weeks]:

Week-1 
A. Introduction
